Cats with Careers

For this puzzle, I didn’t end up doing any of the ones I already owned. Instead, I purchased the puzzle Cats with Careers, which is similar to the Dogs with Jobs puzzle I did last. This is a 500-piece puzzle from Galison.

It was super cute, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as the dogs puzzle. The background was a bit darker, and the finish was a bit uneven and felt rough in places. At one point, I was having trouble fitting two pieces together, and one of the knobs actually popped off one of them!

With that said, I did enjoy seeing the different cats and what their professions were. Here is a picture of the finished puzzle:

And here are some closeups of a few of the cats:

Oh noes!! 😭 Having a knob just fall off a puzzle piece is my worst puzzling fear!! I’m so sorry that happened to you! Is there any way to repair the piece? The puzzle pieces shouldn’t feel rough either 😕 Do you think you’ll reach out to Galison and tell them about your experience/quality issues with the puzzle??

    1. I’m not sure if I’ll reach out. I’ll look at their website and see how easy it is to contact them. I’m thinking I could glue the piece back together. I’m feeling like staying away from their brand for a while.

        1. I didn’t repair it yet, but I did contact Galison. They offered to send a new puzzle – either the same one or another one at the same price point. So I got a different puzzle for free! Definitely good customer service!
